The Ohio Inorganic Weekend is a student-focused meeting for inorganic chemistry groups in Ohio and surrounding states. First organized at Ohio State University in 2000, the event has grown to include over 200 participants in recent years! The format includes a poster session on Friday night, followed by student research presentations on Saturday morning and early afternoon. This is a great opportunity for students (graduate and undergraduate) as well as postdocs to network and learn about all of the exciting inorganic chemistry research taking place in the region. Although poster and oral presentations are limited to students, faculty are also welcome to attend. Dinner and drinks during the poster session, as well as light breakfast fare will be provided thanks to generous sponsorship from The University of Toledo's Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and finally the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects.
